Sara Woods

Evaluation Specialist, Northwestern University Program Evaluation Core

 

Sara has worked at Northwestern University in a variety of capacities since 2008. Currently, Sara works in the Program Evaluation Core as an evaluation specialist working with training program faculty and administrators to effectively carry out their evaluation plans. Sara’s evaluation skills include designing surveys and protocols, facilitating focus groups, conducting interviews, evaluation report writing, and summarizing data.

She recently served as a program evaluator on the T32 Evaluation project which sought to improve the assessment and evaluation of grant-funded graduate-level training programs across Northwestern. Prior to that, Sara consulted on various teaching-and-learning projects for the Searle Center for Advancing Learning and Teaching and also led the Gateway Science Workshop, a peer-led tutoring program for undergrads. 

Sara holds a Master of Science in Higher Education Policy and Administration from Northwestern, and a Master in Arts of Teaching from National Louis University. Sara earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
